Hiking Morialta Falls

Yesterday we were out hiking in Morialta Conservation Park, which is a beautiful park only 10km north east of Adelaide. We spent 2 hours walking roughly 4 or so kilometers along the First and Second Fall walks, which was great fun but maybe not such a great idea after 3 1/2 hours of martial arts practice – was so tired afterwards.

Fortunately for us the weather held and we weren’t rained on during our time hiking. With all of the rain recently in Adelaide the falls were flowing spectacularly which was great to see. We also managed to spot 6 koalas clinging to the trees in the wind, including one that was in a tree only a metre off the ground. Very lucky timing for us!

And a few photos from the day, as it wouldn’t be a blog post without them.
