World Travel 2013-2014, Easter Celebrations in Paris

Have to say that we had a pretty awesome Easter Sunday in Paris. We spent our day eating chocolate Easter eggs in the warm sun in front of the Eiffel Tower (not a bad view!) before wandering around the area nearby.

We were also able to enjoy a delicious lunch of onion soup and snails (of course!), watch children hunt for Easter eggs in the parks in front of the Eiffel Tower, and enjoy a wonderful dinner not far from our accommodation before heading back out to see the Eiffel Tower lit up at night. Would highly recommend checking out the light show if you’re in the area. It only lasts for five minutes, on the hour every hour until around midnight but it makes the tower sparkle and looks absolutely spectacular.

I don’t think Easter Sunday could have been any better if we tried!
