Today was a quieter day spent wandering around the Luxembourg Gardens as well as visiting Sacré-Cœur in the evening for a night view of Paris. I would highly recommend taking a walk around the Luxembourg Gardens as they are incredibly beautiful, but as for Sacré-Cœur I can’t say I recommend it.
In my personal opinion, Paris isn’t that beautiful when seen from a view point as the buildings tend to merge all together (and there’s this one strange skyscraper…). Sacré-Cœur also isn’t very nice as there are a lot of hawkers and a strong smell of alcohol and urine from all of the beer being sold. A bit disappointing and not a great atmosphere in the area.
