After our short time in San Francisco, we were off on the train and bus towards Yosemite for a night in the park and nearly two days to try to do a bit of hiking.
Our accommodation for the evening was a tent cabin which was an interesting experience. All of our food and scented items had to be placed into a bear proof bin outside the cabin which was a new experience.

Inside the cabin was two single beds, a light, a safe, as well as a few shelves. The cabin itself wasn’t that uncomfortable; however, it was FREEZING at night. If I did it again I think we would get a heated tent…

Anyways, the remainder of our day after checking in was spent wandering around and doing one hike up to a waterfall as well as watching the sun set in Yosemite. Beautiful!
