Our final day and evening in the Netherlands was spent in Amsterdam. It was certainly an experience… one I don’t think I’ll repeat.
I don’t think it’s nice when walking down the street to your accommodation for 5 minutes causes you to get dizzy and get a bad headache due to all of the ‘coffee shop’ smoke.
It’s understandable why some people would like Amsterdam as some of the buildings are rather pretty, but the red light district is not nice with all the smoke and I personally feel that there are nicer places in Netherlands to visit.
