World Travel 2013-2014, A Day at the Victoria and Albert Museum

It took a little while to sort out, but with the camera now fixed (a new lens seems to have done the job) I can get back to taking photos and beginning to explore London with Takeshi. It’s certainly a change from Nepal and I’m loving the lack of dust and noise in comparison to Kathmandu!

Our first day exploring London was mostly spent hunting down the replacement lens, but we did get to spend a bit of time in the afternoon exploring the Victoria and Albert Museum. Unfortunately we didn’t have a lot of time, so we were only able to explore the ground floor; however, the amount of exhibits on this one floor was impressive! There were sections dedicated to Asian artifacts as well as European history. I’m looking forward to seeing what the other museums in London are like after visiting a bit of the Victoria and Albert Museum.
