An overnight sleeper train from Beijing, and in the morning we found ourselves in Xi’an! Rather exciting start to the day as at some point over our two days in Xi’an we would be visiting the Terracotta Warriors.
We weren’t going to visit the Warriors today, but the day was instead spent wandering around the Museum (rather nice), visiting the Wild Goose Pagoda as well as going for a walk on the City Wall. I really enjoyed the City Wall, it was very beautiful to walk along and gave a great view of the city. Just be careful if you do decide to ride a bike on the wall as we did see a girl have a spectacular crash due to the uneven stones.
