World Travel 2013-2014, London Tower and the Tower Bridge
Our final day in London, before heading out to see some more of the sights in the United Kingdom, was spent visiting the London Tower.
We took a walk around St Paul’s Cathedral before heading into the London Tower. Admission is insanely expensive (22 pound per adult, around $44 AUD), and although I did enjoy myself, I do wonder if admission to anything is worth it at that price – ouch.
The free tour provided roughly every half hour (runs for an hour) is definitely worth attending. Our guide was very informative and engaging with his humour and ability to tell stories. After the Tower, we went for a walk across the Tower Bridge before calling it a day. We got to see the sun set from the Tower Bridge which was rather spectacular.
