World Travel 2013-2014, Moroccan Food

I had a pretty good time with the food in Morocco. Especially after all of the deep fried food and pastries in Western Europe, it was nice to be able to easily find dishes with lots of vegetables and fruit. The vegetable tajine with couscous was really nice and made for a very satisfying meal (if you don’t want as big a meal, just order the tajine – it’s basically the same dish just without the couscous), but the stand out would have to be the avocado juice / smoothie. After all, just look at that colour! Absolutely amazing. Takeshi really enjoyed his strawberry smoothie as well, so will definitely have to try making them. They should be easy to make as they’re basically just the fruit with some milk and a bit of sugar to taste, and then blended until smooth.
