Today was our only day in Hangzhou, with most of the time on tour spent at a tea house. Can’t say that was overly fun as it was just another money making exercise attempting to hard sell tea to the tour group.
At the end of the day when we were all released from the tour at our accommodation, Takeshi and I went for a walk and found some beautiful buildings and activities around our accommodation. There was water calligraphy, dancing, exercises and badmington in various areas, and there was also a beautiful historic district across the river which had been preserved as an arts and craft museum. Very cool!
