World Travel 2013-2014, Tsukiji Fish Market and the Imperial Garden

Finally made it! We didn’t go ridiculously early in the morning (who wants to lose out on sleep), but we did stop by the Tsukiji Fisk Market around 9am. There were still a lot of different types of fish around which I had never seen before, and we were able to spot Fugu as well as whale bacon among the fish. If you do want to see the auction, you’ll need to be at the market around 4am and hopefully score yourself one of the limited tickets to see the auction.

After the Fish Market, we walked over to the Imperial Palace and spent the afternoon walking around the gardens. I think the palace gardens would look beautiful in the spring and summer when all of the flowers are in bloom; however, it was still rather beautiful even in winter. Although it was a bit cold!
