World Travel 2013-2014, Sneaking through China and Flying to Kathmandu

Our journey from South Korea to Nepal would be a long one, with approximately 33 hours spent either in airports or on planes flying from Seoul to Shanghai (where we would enjoy a 10 hour lay over) before flying from Shanghai to Kunming (for another lay over) and then finally from Kunming to Kathmandu.

Although the airport in Shanghai was not the most comfortable place to sleep, we managed to get a bit of rest and experience some of the smog in China. Have to admit, I stepped outside briefly, took a few photos, breathed in a small amount of smog and was relieved to escape back to the airport. Not sure if I’m as enthused to visit China now!
